This story is a response to the Challenge posted on Friday Fictioneers, which is a weekly blog link-up led by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields at Addicted to Purple. A story inspired by the photo prompt, a beginning, middle and end in just 100 words or below, making every word count. Here goes my attempt, hope you guys like it.
Nightmare
“In a relationship, one can never have the choice to remain unhurt, uninclined, undisposed. If one is… I doubt they are invested at all…”
Sreeni wrote her last message to him – “I cared…I always cared. I still do… even when I know you’re with her… that you’ve stopped caring as much. I’d let these things rot me for a very long time and they will continue to affect me in my future decisions, but hopefully, positively. Good bye!”
Sreeni picked her bags and left the house of her dreams. Just as one wakes up from a nightmare, she felt relieved.

Sometimes, as painful as it might be, one needs to accept what’s
before us and move on. Great use of the prompt. Have a great day … Be Safe
