This story is a response to the Challenge posted on Friday Fictioneers, which is a weekly blog link-up led by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields at Addicted to Purple. A story inspired by the photo prompt, a beginning, middle and end in just 100 words or below, making every word count. Here goes my attempt, hope you guys like it.
Let’s fly instead!
“Stop stop stop stop……!”
“What’s wrong Fenn? What?” Dali asked irritatedly.
Fenn had that dreamy face, but signs of sadness have marred that once youthful creation, giving way to another kind of beauty which never caught Dali’s eye. Dali had better priorities now, maybe a better love as Fenn suspected. Maybe it was just her depression and nothing else… but Dali surely didn’t care.
Fenn stepped out and hung over the railings of that busy flyover, trying one last time to catch his attention.
“Stop driving and come outside, let’s fly instead!”

I’m not sure what a “flyover” is but it sounds more like she’s about to do a fling-over. Some people feel so trapped they see no better way out.

It’s a bridge to route traffic. Yes… Sometimes. Thanks for reading.

The last time I took a ferry was across choppy waters. I hung over the railings for different reasons, (yuck). But glad it was not for the reason in your story.
