This story is a response to the Challenge posted on Friday Fictioneers, which is a weekly blog link-up led by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields at Addicted to Purple. A story inspired by the photo prompt, a beginning, middle and end in just 100 words or below, making every word count. Here goes my attempt, hope you guys like it.
Each time those roads are met, each time you try to take a u-turn from this one-way. You know well, there is no way to stop or go back to the moments that are gone…but you wish to.
Love cannot be classified as a decision, but as an accident. An accident that leaves scars that either can be boasted about or cried over.
“I wish I could tell this to you in time….” She said. “I have started wishing….wish we’d never met.”
“I wish the same.” He said before signing the divorce petition.
