Muse

This story is a response to the Challenge posted on Friday Fictioneers, which is a weekly blog link-up led by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields at Addicted to Purple. A story inspired by the photo prompt, a beginning, middle and end in just 100 words or below, making every word count. Here goes my attempt, hope you guys like it.

Muse

“Her words became my stories. This music of love and lyrics of betrayal.

Her name resounds with the music, the keys are her definition.” he said with closed eyes.

“Who is she Beltus?” Maria tried to pinch him out of the reverie.

Beltus continued playing and never looked up. Maria was not able to break his afflatus. His muse was looking at him, with more love than any woman can give him. He knew she wont come back to him, but that past he met life in…gave him the music he now lives in.
