Soul Traps

This story is a response to the Challenge posted on Friday Fictioneers, which is a weekly blog link-up led by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields at Addicted to Purple. A story inspired by the photo prompt, a beginning, middle and end in just 100 words or below, making every word count. Here goes my attempt, hope you guys like it.

Soul Traps

“How much more?”

“A little”

The little girl had lost her way home. And Sim wanted to walk her back to it…only that she never seemed lost. She was the one who remembered all directions….

Sim felt lost instead.

The Prompt Image

“You know you’re a very pretty girl”

“I am a very pretty soul”

“So where is it…your home, that red one?”

“No its right there…”

“That is…….”

“Your home.”

As Sim’s body fell onto the ground, a little girl that Sim used to be….was freed…

from the soul trap…

her body…

our body.
